A year’s free garden waste subscription is up for grabs!
Residents that sign up to Green Rewards between 15-31 March 2024 will be in with a chance to win a year’s FREE garden waste subscription.

*Winner to be chosen at random and entitled to one free garden waste bin. If already subscribed to the garden waste scheme the winner will be refunded.

Police and Crime Commissioner and Combined County Authority Mayoral Elections will be taking place on Thursday 2 May 2024.
The deadline to register to vote in the elections on 2 May is 16 April.

Leisure provision for Broxtowe residents following the closure of Kimberley Gym and Swim
Leader of Broxtowe Borough Council, Councillor Milan Radulovic MBE has shared the following statement.
“Residents will be aware that despite significant efforts between the Council, Liberty Leisure Ltd and Kimberley School to reach an agreement, the Council is incredibly disappointed that it can no longer commit to the very significant financial contributions proposed by the school to maintain the Kimberley Gym and Swim arrangements."

Help your community this Great British Spring Clean
The Great British Spring Clean is now on from 15-31 March!
To take part, you can get involved in a local litter pick to help tidy up your neighbourhood and live in a community you can be proud of.
The Council have organised some community litter picks so you can join us on:
- Wednesday 20 March 2024 - Broadgate Park, Beeston at 10am.
- Saturday 30 March 2024 - Coronation Park, Eastwood at 10am.
There's no need to book, just turn up. All litter picking equipment will be provided.
Broxtowe Borough Council lend out equipment for litter picks all year round, you can get in touch at environment@broxtowe.gov.uk if you'd like to organise your own.
