Your voice matters to us and helps to shape our services. Here are some projects we carried out thanks to feedback from our residents.

You said:

  • "Improve the paths at Leyton Crescent."
  • "Introduce a scheme to create new wetlands."
  • "Improve path surfaces at Eastwood Cemetery."

We did:

  • We’ve taken your feedback about the Leyton Crescent paths on board and our Parks Team have completed a 300m path to provide year round access, whatever the weather, as part of our Pride In Parks Scheme.
  • To create new wetlands, we have recently teamed up with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to improve existing habitats and create new ones to help build up existing populations of water voles, which have been rapidly declining in the UK.

  • We made a significant investment, improving over 500m of paths at Eastwood Cemetery. The works to create a safer and more accessible burial ground were completed with careful coordination between Bramcote Bereavement Services and the Parks Team to minimise disturbance and disruption.

Having your say matters and helps us make the improvements that you want to see. Get involved with the Council’s open consultations, check results from closed consultations and find other ways to feed back to the Council on our Consultations Hub.
