The D2N2 LEP is inviting bids for the delivery of Skills Bootcamps provision for the following priority areas:
- Construction and the Built Environment (including Green Skills)
- Digital
- Engineering and Manufacturing (including Green Skills)
- Sales, Marketing and Procurement
- Other (Leadership and Management)

Are you a business that is trading or registered to the Broxtowe area?
We’re inviting local businesses to a FREE Business Support Surgery at Stapleford Library and Learning Centre. Whether you’re already in business or just about to start up, you have the opportunity to speak to Nottinghamshire County Council's Business Adviser, Alison North.
There are six slots available throughout the day and they are bookable on a first come, first served basis.
SWEF Grant Programme for Young People
SWEF awards grants of up to £2,000 to young people in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County who need support with a business investment that will transform their business, that they would otherwise not be able to afford. It is particularly targeted at those who are not in education, employment or training.
Eligibility – you can apply if you:
- are aged between 18 to 30 years old
- currently live and work in Nottingham City or Nottinghamshire County
- are from a low income household or facing other challenges preventing you from developing your business
- are running a business that has been trading for under two years (including those about to start a new business)
- already have a sole trader or business bank account in the name of the business or are in the process of doing this

This Carbon Management Workshop Programme will help you understand carbon accounting and management within your business. The sessions are interactive and practical, focused on your business. This session offers an overview of finance for business and aims to get each attendee at the same level of understanding.

- Analysis of the financial statements and their link to strategies to improve performance
