Senior Environmental Health Officer - Environmental Protection

Salary: £44,659 - £46,469

We are looking for an experienced and qualified officer to lead, supervise and be responsible for our Environmental Protection team covering Noise, Air Quality, Contaminated Land, permitted processes, planning consultations and public health matters.

You will need to be highly motivated and able to work independently with your own small caseload. You will have the ability to manage and lead a team, developing relevant policies and procedures to ensure quality services are delivered.

Asset Systems and Data Officer

Salary: £26,669 - £28,013

We are seeking a suitable, qualified and experienced data analyst with experience of working with property management software or similar to help us to deliver an excellent property maintenance service.  

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Planned Maintenance databases to enable the development, procurement, monitoring and review of asset investment programmes across our portfolio.

Culture and Events Officer

Salary: £28,635 - £30,170 

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our Culture and Events Team and help run the Council’s popular culture and events programme.

The right candidate will work with colleagues to design, plan, promote and deliver community focused outdoor events and cultural activities including our flagship event, The Hemlock Happening, as well as Play Days and Christmas Lights Switch Ons.

Health, Safety and Emergency Planning Officer (Career Graded)

Salary: £24,775 - £40,989

Are you a graduate that would like to start a career in Health and Safety? We are looking to train the right person in this newly established career graded post.

Your starting salary will be £24,775 (grade 5) and you will begin your training for the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health. 

On successful completion and successful demonstration of being able to carry out the full range of duties expected of a Health and Safety Officer your salary will rise to £30,851 (grade 8).

Communications and Marketing Projects Officer

Salary: £31,456 - £33,186

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in planning, delivering and evaluating creative integrated communications and marketing campaigns and to support delivery of some of the Council’s key projects such as cultural services, economic development, investment, behaviour change and climate change.
