The first-ever South Essex Business Expo is only three weeks away. The expo will be the region’s largest business event of the year, giving you the chance to network with 150 exhibitors and an expected 1,000 attendees.
This FREE event is open to all businesses of all sizes, trades, industries, professions and sectors, start-ups and pre starts with something for everyone.

Lower Thames Crossing drop-in community event

*Venue:* The Baytree Centre CM14 4BX
Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is holding a series of drop-in events at community halls and shopping centres in February and March to give you the chance to chat with their team.
LTC will be providing information on the progress they made in 2023 and their plans for 2024, including:
* An update on their planning application
* Information about their new partners who will build the crossing if they get the green light and the ambitions to recruit local staff and businesses
* How LTC is already delivering an ambitious programme of wider investment in local community and environment projects

Ambitious Women in Essex presents a very special event with Ford Motor Company
*Date:* Wednesday 6 March
*Time:* 10am - 2pm
*Venue:* Ford Motor Company, Visitors Centre, Basildon SS15 6EE
Join Ambitious Women in Essex (AWiE) and Basildon Council as they bring you a special event in collaboration with Ford Motor Company at their Dunton Campus on March 6 from 10am.
**Event agenda:**
* “Women in Leadership – Journeys, Successes and Challenges” - A panel discussion lead by Cllr Louise McKinlay and Ford Motor Company senior female leaders with the opportunity for some Q&A.
* Lots of networking with members of Ford Motor Company and the Ambitious Women in Essex community.
* Free refreshments, including lunch will be provided.
The event will also be attended by key Essex business support providers who will be on hand to answer any questions you have.
The panel will then be followed by networking in AWiE's usual format: very relaxed, simply turn up when you can, stay as long as you like, with no expectation for you to do anything other than enjoy yourself and talk to as many members of the community as you wish.
This is an amazing opportunity to network with one of Essex's leading organisations, whatever stage you are at in your career or entrepreneurial journey.
