🩺 Book your NHS health check
Dorset residents aged between 40 and 74 may be eligible for an NHS health check by their GP.
An NHS health check is a free check on your cardiovascular health and can spot the early signs of diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease or a stroke. During your check you will also be told how small lifestyle changes can help you decrease the risk of developing these illnesses.
If you've been invited for an NHS health check by your GP, it's important you take up the offer and book your appointment. If you haven’t heard from your GP, you may be eligible for a community NHS health check with LiveWell Dorset. Check your eligibility and find a location near you.
