BCP Council and its partners have joined together to create an Age Friendly Network and together they are committed to supporting the local older population to thrive, stay independent and age well.

We are very proud that the World Health Organisation have accepted the Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole region into its Global Network of Age Friendly Cities and Communities (GNAFCC)!

๐Ÿ“– Have you had your say on library services?

We have three surveys available online and paper versions are available in any BCP Council library:

Thinking of fostering a child or young person?
image
As Foster Care fortnight concludes, we are asking more people to consider fostering to provide loving spaces for children and young people who need safe, stable, and nurturing environments.

Our foster care community is as diverse as they come โ€“ just like parents, foster carers come from diverse backgrounds. We warmly welcome LGBTQ+ folks, vibrant young adults (you can start fostering from 25!), individuals with disabilities, and those from ethnic minority backgrounds to join us.

If you're ready to bring positive energy into a child's life, we want YOU on our team. Let's make a difference together โ€“ join us in creating loving homes for those who need it most!
