✈️ Formidable Swedish fighter jets set to soar for Air Festival 2024!

Two formidable Swedish fighter jets are set to perform a stunning aerial display during this year's three-day Bournemouth Air Festival, on Thursday 29 - Saturday 31 August.
The Saab Viggen and Saab Draken are the latest aircraft to be unveiled for the 16th festival and it will be the first time these renowned aircraft will have flown at the event together.

An update on the Leader of BCP Council
Following her election as Member of Parliament for Mid Dorset and North Poole, Leader of BCP Council, Councillor Vikki Slade has announced she will be resigning as Leader of BCP Council ahead of the next Council meeting in July.

BCP Council submits Local Plan to Secretary of State
We have now submitted our Draft BCP Local Plan for independent examination.
This first Draft BCP Local Plan sets out the council’s ambitious strategy for growth over the next 15 years. It allocates sites for 24,000 new homes and 72 hectares of employment land, along with detailed planning policies which will guide decision making for all future development. It also includes 33 individual ward policies, which all BCP Councillors have had the opportunity to help shape and develop.
