Make sure you keep track of children or vulnerable people with LV=KidZone!

The beach safety scheme, which is now in its 17th year, launched for 2024 on 1 July.

LV=KidZone is here to help protect and reunite lost children and vulnerable adults with their loved ones. So, if you're planning a fun day at the beach, don't forget to pick up a free wristband. It's a simple way to keep everyone safe and give you peace of mind.

☕ Dingley's Promise sessions

Dingley's Promise, based in West Howe, offers holistic support, focusing on both the children and their families. The centre offers specialist "learn through play" sessions, which are designed to support the development of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they need, complementing the existing early years support.

Children aged 0 to five are welcome to explore various activities without needing a referral or diagnosis. Learn more about these stay and play sessions in the link below.
The centre is also hosting drop in sessions where families feel welcome, can ask questions, seek support for any challenges, and connect with other families in similar situations:

📌 Tuesday 16 July from 9.30am to 11am (general support session)
📌 Tuesday 30 July from 9.30am to 11am (speech and language information)
📌 Tuesday 6 August from 9am to 11am (toilet training information)
📌 Tuesday 20 August from 9am to 11am (transitions support information)
📌 Tuesday 27 August from 9.30am to 12.30pm (disability living allowance support session)

BCP Council have been working closely with Public Health Dorset, Bournemouth University and Dorset Council to capture the experiences of dads and male carers across family and health services.

We invite you to participate in this survey by sharing your thoughts and experiences. Your feedback will help us create more effective and inclusive services with ambitious goals.
