Sir Conor Burns MP to Chair Bournemouth Action Partnership Group 🏢
The Rt Hon Conor Burns MP for Bournemouth West
has been announced as Chair of Bournemouth Town Centre Action Partnership Group.
Following the Town Centre Survey, and successful Bournemouth Town Centre Summit last year, the new Bournemouth Town Centre Action Partnership Group will be overseeing progress in responding to feedback from residents and businesses.
Councillor Vikki Slade, Leader of BCP Council, said: “The council has a part to play, but we can’t do it all. We are just one piece in a larger jigsaw puzzle, and if we all come together in a meaningful way, we can deliver positive action.”

BCP Council supported internships programme

Do you know a young person aged 18 to 24 who has a special educational need or disability (SEND) or an education, health and care plan (EHCP)?
The BCP Council supported internship is for young people with SEND or an EHCP who would have already completed school or a college course and are looking for a final year of support before entering paid employment.

Flag flies for Ukraine 💙💛
The Ukrainian flag will be raised at Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council’s Civic Centre to mark the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine this Saturday 24 February.
More than 700 Ukrainians have settled across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole through the Homes for Ukraine scheme since Russian forces instigated the war, which has forced more than six million to flee their homeland.
