Whitwell well dressing 2023
It is well dressing season and that means if you go out in Derbyshire you will most likely find one of these beautiful displays on show.
In Bolsover District we have well dressings taking place in:
* Whitwell, 6 July
* Clowne, 20 July
* Bolsover, 10 August
This traditional art from dates back generations and is used as a way to give thanks for a clean water supply. These days it is a community event often accompanied with a larger event.
