Experience the Crags as the sun rises and the birds start their day. As they say 'the early bird catches the worm' and you will leave the Visitor Centre at 6am to make the most of this special time at the Crags.
As you walk down to the gorge, you will see and hear the site come to life. As the cacophony of the dawn chorus quietens, Jack your guide, will be on hand to identify the song of different birds you will encounter on this walk.
Breakfast option includes a bacon roll and a hot drink (options are available for different dietary requirements).

UTC Festival

This will be the fifth festival from UTC after kicking off in 2018. The festival has gone from strength to strength and is a wonderful two day event bringing local people together with some of the UK's top regional bands and artists, to share their passion for grassroots music.
This year expect music from Tom Meighan (ex-Kasabian frontman), Cinematics, Aftermath, The Endings, The Blue Carpet Band and Tinseltown Rebellion.

Beginning with the Adams Mammoth, collected in 1806, the talk traces how permafrost-preserved remains of woolly mammoths figured prominently in nineteenth century debates about extinction, geology, evolution, and the nature of planetary cold.
