Child's choice
We have joined forces with Live Life Better Derbyshire to provide the district's children with a range of free, fun activities.
Child's Choice is a new physical activity offer from Live Life Better Derbyshire.
It's for children whose parents are taking part in our eight-week Healthy Families Growing Up programme.

And we are, and are continuing to do our bit with a number of schemes and the recent appointment of a new community woodland officer.

South Normanton Gala coming soon
South Normanton Gala
One of, if not the biggest gala in the District is set to be staged on 5 and 6 July.
Held over two days, the South Normanton Gala provides entertainment for all the family from live music on the Friday evening to family fun on the Saturday with traditional arena acts and fairground rides.
Bolsover TV met up with one of the Gala Crew to find out more and what people can expect.

Businesses urged to respond to emergency incidents survey

Businesses across Bolsover District are being urged to respond to a survey on emergency incidents.
The survey aims to aid research into how business networks and groups can be supported to prepare for, and respond to emergency incidents that affect their communities – from flooding, to terrorist attacks, power outage, fire, pandemics and beyond.
It also asks to share your thoughts and experiences and will give you the opportunity to access more information and support for your group of businesses in emergency preparation and response.
