In this week's programme Bolsover District Council approved their latest Council Plan that highlights the authority’s ambitions for the next four years, we meet Chloe Boulton, a singer who can provide that perfect song for your wedding, Bolsover Drama Group are taking to the stage again as they prepare for their annual showcase, green bins collections are set to start again across the district, your views are sought on growth proposals for Shirebrook and a group of people are preparing to walk up Ben Nevis in aid of charity.

Age old tradition ringing out in Barlborough
Barlborough Church bell ringing
There are numerous traditions that take place across Bolsover District every year.
From the annual lantern parade to fireworks displays and Remembrance Sunday to Well Dressings, but none are as old as one tradition that is practiced most weeks in our local towns and villages.
We sent our reporter Charlotte Ellis to find out more.

Freedom project job club
A charity in Bolsover has set up their very own Job Club.
After the job centre in the town closed in 2017, the Freedom Project noticed a gap in the town and that there was a need for this type of facility.
Launched at the end of 2023, they set up the club to help support people in looking for unemployment, writing CVS and preparing for interviews.
