Clean Air Day

image

Clean Air Day (CAD), the UK’s largest campaign on air pollution is happening on Thursday 20 June 2024. This CAD, use your voice to call on our next government to make walking, wheeling, and cycling safer, and ensure that everyone can access reliable, affordable and efficient public transport.

This year, we will be supporting CAD by hosting a 'Clean Air Celebration Event' for schools in Birmingham. There will be experts and campaigners from various organisations, helping us explore what contributes to air pollution, discover ways we can help the world, reduce traffic in the local area, and look after our health too!

We will also be attending 3 hospitals across the city, Heartlands,

Good Hope, and Queen Elizabeth Hospital for 'Getting to Work Sustainably' events, to promote and champion sustainable travel modes at these hospitals.

Colmore BID will also be hosting some great events for CAD, on Thursday 20 June. They will be at Arup’s offices from 8am - 9am for an exclusive briefing tailored to local businesses on the topic of ‘Energy, Air & Your Business'. They will also be hosting a FREE Dr Bike health check outside of Snow Hill station from 9am - 1pm.
