Shaping Birmingham's Future Together

The Birmingham we want:  your chance to engage and tell us your views.

Shaping Birmingham's Future Together (SBFT), which was announced by the Leader of the Council in March 2024, has been supporting the development and design of City Council’s Corporate Plan.

This is your opportunity to have your say on what you believe the priorities for the City Council should be from October 2024 onwards.

An online survey and a series of engagement session were launched in early July, and we have already engaged citizens, local community organisations, voluntary sector organisation, partner organisations, attended ward forums, youth forums, and more across Birmingham.

We still have lots of opportunities for you to be involved, so don’t miss out on having your say!

Join the workshops

We are holding several open engagement sessions over the next few weeks. Everyone is welcome to attend.

SBFT have already identified 7 priority themes that are important to them: Housing, Health, Economy, Education, Employment, Transport and Environment.

We want to know what you think about these themes and if we are missing anything.

The questions we would like you to consider under each theme are the same, these are included in the survey link – please do use this link to feedback on the themes.

  1. What key issues does the city need to address to benefit citizens?
  2. What are the most important strengths the city needs to build on to benefit citizens?
  3. What should the City Council and those organisations that work in the city prioritise?

If you wish to attend one of these workshops please complete the attached registration form here: Registration Form

Closing date for all feedback on the Corporate Plan: 18 Aug 2024
