Recycle more glass
If you have a lot of glass to recycle you can collect a new or additional glass collection box for free from our offices in London Road, Basingstoke between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, except for bank holiday Monday when the office is closed. You can also buy a glass bin as an alternative to a box if you regularly have lots of bottles and jars to recycle. Alternatively you'll find a list of glass recycling banks on our website.

Ultra-low carbon taxi takes to the road
Steve and his new electrically powered hackney carriage are making it easier to travel green in Basingstoke and Deane, thanks to the help of a £5,000 grant from our support scheme. Any local taxi driver can apply for a grant towards these accessible, low-carbon vehicles that could save them around £150 a week on fuel.
