Don't miss the deadline to vote in May
This year's local elections will take place on Thursday 2 May. There will be borough council and police and crime commissioner elections and, for some areas, parish council elections. The deadline to register to vote in May's local elections is 11.59pm on Tuesday 16 April 2024. You can find out how to register by visiting our website.

Apply for your postal vote for May's local elections
There are various ways you can vote in the local elections, including voting by post. If you wish to apply for a postal vote for May's election, the deadline is 5pm on Wednesday 17 April. You can use the form on our website or call 01256 844844 to apply.
