New changing places facility at Lake Meadows
Image of changing places facility
Fraser and his mum Shelley opened the brand-new Changing Places Facility installed at Lake Meadows Park, Billericay.
They were joined by Councillor Jeff Henry, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing, Leisure, Arts & Culture. The Changing Places programme is funded by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. Speaking at the opening, Cllr Henry said, “Facilities such as these will go a long way in improving the quality of play for families. Without it, something as simple as visiting the park is a monumental task that requires a lot of thought and planning. This facility will make it more inclusive for all."
