Armed Forces Day celebrations
Join us on *Saturday 29 June* to celebrate Armed Forces Day. Starting at 12pm, a parade made up of hundreds of serving personnel, service families, veterans and cadets will march from Toys R Us in Basildon Town Centre towards St Martin’s Square.

The Advice Store - Spectrum Works Job and Wellbeing Fair
The Advice Store - Spectrum Works job and wellbeing fair graphic
Basildon Council's Advice Store, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and Essex County Council, are hosting a Spectrum Works Job and Wellbeing Fair for people with autism, ADHD or who are neurodiverse.
There will be a range of neurodivergent friendly employers as well as training providers and support groups. Exhibitors include Royal Mail, NHS, McDonald's and Essex Police.
The event will take place at the Basildon Centre, SS14 1DL, on Saturday 13 July from 11am to 2pm.
