Working with us
As an employee of Westmorland and Furness Council, you will have the opportunity to engage with and be a part of our Staff Network Groups. We want to create a culture and environment that welcomes all staff, recognises their diversity of needs and encourages them to be themselves at work.
Recently, our Shine network group (Staff Network Group for disabilities and long term health conditions) were awarded Public Sector Champion at the Diverse Cumbria Awards 2024. We would like to congratulate Shine on this fantastic achievement, and look forward to working on future projects together!
