How to join an Online Interview
Invited to interview and see it's on Microsoft Teams? Here's what to do:
* Get your equipment ready – For an online interview, you'll need a computer/laptop with a camera & microphone and a reliable internet connection. You'll join your interview via your website browser, so make sure it's up to date.
* Test your equipment works - Check your computer turns on, your internet loads and your browser opens the Teams/Zoom link.
* Dress the same as you would in a face-to-face interview - You'll appear professional, you'll seem more prepared and you'll feel more confident.
* Limit distractions – Make sure you choose a location which is quiet and clean for your interview. Also be sure to speak with any family or housemates in advance to minimise any interruptions.
Put the date and time in your diary, look at the council website and job advert in advance and get set to have a great interview.
