Start for Life - The First 1001 days
*Cumberland’s Start for Life Offer*
Local authorities have been asked by the Department for Education to publish a ‘Start for Life’ offer to provide an overview of the services that are available to families during the period from conception to the age of two.
We want Cumberland’s Start for Life offer to be a useful guide that lets Cumberland families with very young children know about all of the support that is available to them.
It is available to view on the Family Hubs website here - Start for Life Offer in Cumberland | Cumberland Family Hubs [
]
If you have any feedback or suggestions about other things that we should include, please email – s4life@Cumberland.gov.uk

*Manifesto for Babies*
The First 1,001 Days Movement is a coalition of over 200 charities and professionals hosted by the Parent Infant Foundation. They have recently launched their ‘Manifesto for Babies’ calling for better support and wellbeing for babies from pregnancy until age two.
