Yesterday (Thursday 2 May) voters across Eastleigh Borough went to polling stations to choose Councillors to represent them on the

Eastleigh Active is back this Summer
Eastleigh Active, our popular summer programme of sports and activities for young people, is returning for the summer.
It offers children and young people, aged 5-16, a variety of opportunities to try something new, be more active, and make friends over the summer.
Activities will run between 29 July - 23 August at various times and venues.
We’re finalising the exciting summer programme and will reveal all soon!

We have launched our latest recruitment drive for local nature lovers to join our brilliant Plant Eastleigh Volunteers and help us hit our new trees target!
We are also keen to hear from local community groups who would like to take part in planting events.

Blood pressure monitors available from libraries
You can now borrow blood pressure monitors for free
from your local library [ alongside books and magazines.
Hampshire County Council is partnering with the NHS to tackle high blood pressure.
It affects one in four adults but is usually symptomless. If left untreated, it can lead to strokes, heart attacks, coronary heart disease and heart failure but, worryingly, a third of people in the UK who are affected, are unaware.
The library home loan scheme makes it easy and convenient for you to ‘ know your numbers’ [
Borrow a monitor, just like a book, for up to 14 days. For example, Eastleigh library will have three devices on its loan scheme.
