Essex PFCC election result declared
Voters went to the polls on Thursday 2 May to elect a *Police**, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) for the Essex police area*. The votes have now been counted and the result is in. *Roger Hirst, the Conservative Party Candidate, *has been elected to serve as the PFCC for Essex.

Chelmsford Museum Gallery Wall callout for artists
Chelmsford Museum is inviting* local artists* to submit their artwork for display on the museum’s Gallery Wall. The museum has teamed up with the city’s creative network, Ignite Chelmsford, in a *new rotating **programme* that will make space to showcase local artists.
