Young carers from Central Bedfordshire were treated to a series of exciting and well-deserved activities during the Easter holidays, providing them with a much-needed break from their caring responsibilities.

Organised by our Early Help Team, the activities aimed to give the young carers a chance to relax, have fun and create lasting memories.

The holidays kicked off with a day at Mead Open Farm, where the young carers had a blast feeding the animals and even had the unique opportunity to witness a calf being born!

Another group were treated to a VIP cinema experience, enjoying a private screening of Kung Fu Panda and snacking on pizza. And the fun continued with a bowling extravaganza, where the young carers had a fantastic time knocking down pins and celebrating their strikes.

These young carers do an incredible job, and providing them with opportunities to have fun, relax, and take a break from their caring responsibilities is essential.
